Getting Started with Hailuo 03 on Hailuo3 AI

A practical first run — from idea to native 2K clip with synced audio.

This guide walks you through your first Hailuo 03 (MiniMax H3) generation on Hailuo3 AI.

Before you start

  1. Create an account and sign in to Hailuo3 AI.
  2. Choose a paid plan and confirm you have enough credits. Registration does not include free generation credits.
  3. Open Create with a short scene idea and, optionally, one publicly accessible HTTPS first-frame image URL.

Steps

  1. Choose a mode — text-to-video or first-frame image-to-video.
  2. Provide the first frame for I2V — one publicly accessible HTTPS image URL; direct uploads, tail frames, and multi-file references are not supported.
  3. Write the prompt — up to 4,000 characters describing the scene, camera, motion, and sound.
  4. Generate — choose an integer duration of 5–15 seconds at native 2K. Credits are reserved before submission.
  5. Review and download — find the result in your account history. Confirmed failures refund credits once; uncertain submissions remain pending until resolved. To change a clip, submit a new generation or use an external editor.

Tips for better first results

  • Describe shot type (wide, close-up, product insert) and camera move
  • Name who/what stays consistent across shots when using multi-shot storytelling
  • Call out audio: dialogue line, room tone, or impact SFX

Paid plans grant credits monthly, including annual plans which unlock a month at a time. Granted credits do not expire. Canceling renewal preserves the already-paid period.
